It's only been a little more than one week since I registered at DA, and I am already receiving a lot of great messages from many people, so I thought it was time to write a bit.

First, I'd like to say thank you to all the people commenting and giving me feedback about my work. Your participation had already made DA a great experience for me.

For those who are wondering, here is a little more details about myself.

My artist name is Chris Trigger.

I just turned 27, and as a strange as it can sound, I am a musician rather than a pencil artist.

As far as my parents remember (I have very bad memory), I drew my first comic at the age of 6. I got into the manga & anime style very early, and it influenced the way I drew ever since. By the time many people were starting to say I should consider entering an art school and become a professional, I had also developed a very strong interest towards music, and wasn't sure which one to base my life on.
I carried on drawing until I was around 21-22. Then, I decided to stop completely and devote my life to music.

I haven't changed my mind yet, and my band is still my first priority now.

However, lately I came across Endling's 'Ever After' comic, his art, his world and lately 'Endzone', the OC Tournament he organized. I don't know exactly what happened, but it moved something inside me, and made me want to draw again.

And now here I am in DA.

And it feels so good, like reconnecting with a part of me I loved, but I had just decided to shut away for some stupid reason.

I love the atmosphere of the DA community, the mutual help, support and love everyone gives to each other out here. The skill level is just so high as well! Of course, it's you against the world!

Seeing so many great artists makes you want to improve, gives you new ideas and pushes you to go further.

And this is just the beginning. The future can only be even better.

Inspiration might just be the greatest gift ever. Make the most of it!
